MS Python System measures the acceleration response of platforms and compares it to the wave motion. The measurement of environmental and structural parameters for jack-up platform monitoring provides verification of the performance of the structures in extreme conditions and information on foundation conditions. The central data acquisition unit should have enough channels to record data received from accelerometers and several additional channels to record other sensors such as:

  • Tilting and inclinometers to monitor the overall structure.

  • Relative motion monitoring system allows the motion of a jacket and cantilevered drilling jack up platform to be compared with allowable limits.
